Pre-paving future experiences is one of the easiest ways to control or at least influence your reality. It’s one of the many useful Law of Attraction (LOA) techniques i’ve learnt from Abraham over the years and it’s become a part of my daily life.
I want to share it with others as i know it will give you back the control you long for. At the end of the day we all long to know that our destiny is in our hands, and we are in the drivers seat of life. I personally can’t contemplate living a life where i’m a victim of circumstance and accidents. In other words i’m a bit of a control freak, but only when it comes to my own life 😉
In simple terms what you give out (thought vibrations and emotions combined) is what you get back. The LOA acts up on the vibrations you release (through your emotions) and returns to you similar vibrational life situations. That means that when you feel stupid, less than or unworthy people come into your experience who make you feel stupid and inferior. Not because they are  intrinsically bad people, but because the LOA is always acting on your emitted vibrations. We live in a society that teaches us to blame other people for how they make us feel. But in truth, no one can make you feel anything except you. You choose who to give your attention to,  you decide if an experience is labelled ‘good’ or ‘bad’.
The best way to pre-pave your future experience so to speak, is to think about it with positive expectations. For example, if you are about to take a business trip and you know your flight is long, the more you dread the long flight and obsess about what may go wrong, the more negative prepaving you are doing. On the other hand, if you think of all the positive aspects of this trip, and what you look forward to, when time comes for the trip and you board that flight, you will be amazed at how delightful the trip becomes. There are endless ways in which the Universe will delight or disappoint you, it just depends on what you choose to experience. And you make your choice (whether you realise it or not) by what you put your focus on.
Why don’t you try it out yourself? We have all been in situations where something has happened, and we’ve said ‘i knew this would happen’. And it’s that same expectation you had early on, that prepaved the outcome for you.
I’d love to hear your experiences with this technique. How has it worked for you? I must admit it takes a bit of time and practice to get a handle on this, and become aware of how you really are a creator of your world. But once you come to this understanding, it feels sooooooo good! 🙂  It’s like being on crutches your whole life and one day suddenly realising you can run as fast as you want.
So to recap, the steps to starting prepaving are:
1 – pick a future event to focus on. It could be a trip to the gym, lunch with a friend or a presentation at work. I’d recommend you don’t start with large events you are already anxious about. Start with something small you feel neutral about, and once you see your success manifesting a good experience for yourself, move on to a bigger subject/event.
2 – think about it in a positive light. Even if there is only one positive aspect of the event or situation, focus on that one positive aspect as you find more and more positive aspects. The LOA will bring more and more positive thoughts about it, and it will get easier to anticipate a good outcome. As you go through your day, refocus on how well this event will turn out for you. The more time you spend thinking about the event in a positive light, the better the outcome will be.
Now go into your day and notice how everything turns out for you. Let me know how you apply this to your life.
